Hello there! My name is Hali, and I'm a 24 year old English student with a passion for beauty, fashion, intersectional feminism, LGBTQA+ rights, writing, art, and lifestyle. I have a lot of passions, don't I?
I've always wanted to blog or even make a Youtube account but held myself back because I struggled with self-confidence issues. However, I've been encouraged to do so as a sort of boost to help with those issues, and it sounded like a great idea. So, here I am! I want to share my hobbies and passions at the most, and at the least just have a place to write about them.
I live in New York, and I am originally from Georgia. Two cats live in my house; one belongs to my best friend/roommate. His name is Draco/Doug/Dave Meowthews. The other belongs to my other roommate. Her name is Stella Luna.
I'm just making my way through the beauty world one product at a time. I like to review products, as well as talk about what I really like (don't we all). My reviews are simply how the product works for me - it may not work the same for you. I only ever review/test products that I would actually use or wear. For instance, I wouldn't really review a self-tanner because I never use them.
A few notes about me:
-I have dry skin, with particularly dry patches around my undereye/nose and the area between my eyebrows.
-My hair is thin and fine, and I am prone to a dry scalp.
-I am very pale/fair, and my shade is usually the lightest one available. I also have pink undertones.
-I do not fake tan and have no plans of ever doing so.
